Pool & Terrace

Part of the magic of having your own holiday home in southwest France is indulging in the idyllic weather.  At La Belle Grange, there is so much incentive to get outside for fun in the sun!  In addition to the lovely terrace and swimming pool, the breathtaking environs at La Belle Grange comprise 170 acres of landscaped lawns, natural fields, an open sports pitch, forest and hiking areas.

Swimming Pool

There is plenty of room for lap-swimming, playing volleyball or just bobbing around on floaties in the 15 meter swimming pool. There is also a small inflatable pool available for our guests with very young children. The chaise lounges have plump cushions to satisfy sun-worshippers while the canopy provides a shady haven.

The swimming pool has been fitted with an electronic retractable dome-cover, so that the pool can be kept clean and temperate when not in use.  A remote control will be placed in your care upon your arrival.

S’IL VOUS PLAIT!  Please do not use the pool cover as a substitute for supervision where it comes to swimmers or children in the pool area.  The safety of your family is of utmost importance to us; as such, we urge you to use caution at all times to protect against the inherent dangers of swimming pools.

The Terrace

One of your favorite gathering places at La Belle Grange will surely be the lovely side terrace.  Directly accessible from the Kitchen and Great Room, the tiled side terrace is a spacious and serene spot with dazzling panoramic views.  The BBQ equipment is here, as well as a family-size picnic table, 10 chairs and 2 parasols.  Sunny until midday and shady in the afternoon, the terrace is a perfect place for al fresco dining, hosting a party, feeding those hungry swimmers or having cocktails at sunset.

Outdoor Games and Activities

For your pleasure, your French holiday home is stocked with Boules, Croquet, Horseshoes and Badminton sets as well as Tricycles, Kites, Footballs and Volleyballs.  Step out onto the well-manicured grassy pitch to have a match.

The grounds of La Belle Grange are vast and enchanting, with lots of pretty byways for leisurely strolls, challenging hikes, picnic spots and fishing nooks.

Within minutes of the farm, there are venues for golfing, kayaking, cycling, horse-back riding and more.  There’s even a local playground!  The hospitality book at La Belle Grange is stocked with helpful brochures, directions and contact numbers.
